Description: The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection relies on global positioning satellites to map man-made structures on Lake Erie. Watch as DEP's intern Andy Faivre trains new intern Sarah Lawlor on how to map the structures using GPS systems, photographs, and measurements to compile a database which will be used to monitor beach erosion.
