Description:

Jefferson Elementary School students hiked to nearby Mercyhurst College in Erie on May 6 to learn more about dinosaurs during "Dino Days" at the school. The college's anthropology and geology clubs helped further the kids' interest in all things prehistoric, as the youngsters counted Tyrannosaurus teeth and held rocks from the Earth's mantle. Mercyhurst education majors helped the kids with art and science projects. The event lasts three days, with older elementary students attending Thursday and Friday.
