After years of drug addiction and eight months in jail, Lynn Rehm wound up at Erie's Mercy Center for Women, where she said she regained her self-esteem and learned to live a better life. Today, she works there as a house manager. In spring 2008 she won the center's Alumna of the Year award. She will speak April 14 at the Mercy Center's Women Making History event, which will be held at 7 p.m. at Mary D'Angelo Performing Art Center, 501 E. 38th St. It is free and open to the public.
