Description: Former Erie Plastics employees were lined up Nov. 19 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building in Corry to reapply for their jobs. Employees said everyone that signed up was hired. Those jobs are expected to last 60 or 90 days. About 200 workers lost their jobs Nov. 18 after Berry Plastics, an Evansville, Ind.-based plastics paid $6.9 million Nov. 17 to satisfy the debts of Erie Plastics, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in late September. Berry Plastics is expected to close the plant and move the work elsewhere.
