Description: Presque Isle State Park's lagoons are a world apart from the rest of the busy tourist attraction. Closed off to gas-powered boats, one of the only ways to explore the inland ponds is by paddle -- either by canoe or kayak. The lagoon is home to a variety of plant and animal life. This is some of what you could expect to see during a trip out on the lagoons.
