Today, she works there as a house manager. In spring 2008 she won the center's Alumna of the Year award. She will speak April 14 at the Mercy Center's Women Making History event, which will be held at 7 p.m. at Mary D'Angelo Performing Art Center, 501 E. 38th St. It is free and open to the public.
